Call for submissions: Incredible student work! is designed to celebrate South African Architecture, showcasing what’s being built, written and imagined here and now. It’s a platform to share ideas, knowledge and projects from across the professional landscape. Part of the online platform is dedicated to exhibiting the best South African student work.

Student work pushes boundaries, challenging set ways of approaching problems and bringing fresh perspectives to stale debates. By providing a platform for students to publish work on the site, we hope to bring wider recognition to the incredible work being produced in studios and bedrooms across the country. It’s an opportunity for professionals to keep up to date with student work and allow students to see what’s going on at other universities.

This is a call to lecturers and students from any year group and from departments across the country to submit incredible Student Work. Though the publishing focus is on design projects, we’d also like to publish exception written pieces.

To submit work go to:
fill in the form and upload your work.

If you’re submitting a project, please include a short synopsis (300 – 500 words) as a
word document, which explains the project, the brief and which year of study the
project was for. Please also include captions for your images. When uploading
images, please think about legibility, remember that they will be viewed on a screen
and so single images are better than posters of multiple images.
